Default custom HPTuner/LS1Edit/... cables?

Has anyone tried this? Anyone know where I can get the connector type info, and perhapse wiring diagram? Anyone want to take an Ohmerter to theirs in the name of progress? Pictures? Please PM me if you'd like to help.
Doing a little investigation now, for a potentialy great project. Will be an open source tool for fellow LS1rs

Cheers'

It is rather tricky designing your own cable to say the least but I will point you to some references that should get you going.

You need a Motorola (FreeScale) MC68HC58 Data Link Controller to interface with the OBDII/VPW port. You would also need to implement a PIC chip or some sort of buffering interface to support block mode if you are going to do calibration/OS uploads/downloads.

That is the easy part really. The next part is writing your own boot loader and figuring out how the Seed Keys work with the different VCM's.

I can give you more info but it will need to be offline as I am not sure discussing this here is allowed.
