U running cat or no? If no cats then Im assuming ur dealing w/ rasp. do a search on here and u'll see what most guys did. I used to have one on my 99z and i put a flo pro twister muffler in place of it and it helped alot!!

I was thinking about putting that same muffler in the place of my resonator. I have done some searching but could not come up with anything regarding the flo pro. Did that take all your rasp away. I am really debating on doing it (as a wild hair) or going with the proven borla.

It pretty much took all the rasp away but i also changed the tips as well to single 3in tips on each side vs. the 2.5 in quads that came w/ the LM. i did eventually switch to the borla later on cuz i had it layin around from my SS and wanted to try it for the hell of it and got all that rasp back unless i put in the whole blockoff plate!( i was running the macs and ory like you are) If you plan on changing the loudmouth id go w/ the hooker catback which is only $290-$300( heard lots o guys say it sounds great) The borla is twice as expensive unless you find a used one or what i reccommend most is to get a 3in x-pipe off ur macs w/ 12in bullets and 3in turndowns which should sound great w/ ur cam! I finally did it w/ my 99z before i wrecked (it sounded awesome w/ my F11 cam!)

Borla XR-1, gives it a nice deep tone.

another vote for the Borla XR-1, but that's only because that's what I had to add to my LTs with ORY and Borla catback to get rid of the rasp.

I would go with the sweet thunders or if that fails go with Nicks secret pipe, he may sell it for a small fee. It makes loudmouth sound like slientmouth
