nice times. I just started doing a set of LQ9 ported heads and big cam on my buddy's Vortech SC firehawk. This new change should put him over 550rwhp. Now if I can just talk him into building up the tranny and rear and driveshaft maybe I'll see some 10 sec passes out of it

even if he baby's it out of the hole he has plenty of power to a high 10, heck i only make 476 and i'm almost there. If I had valvesprings to rev a little higher I'd be damn close the way i am now, my tuner has my shift points turned down so not to float a valve.

Damn, by the time you get that thing running again my street car will be as fast as your race car. You only have 2 mph on my trap with my miniature cam and 2.73 gears, look out!

yea yea keep talking spanky i think you forgot this is my street car!
I have no idea why my trap speed isn't higher, I think my converter is way inefficient and it should have trapped higher with 30 more horsepower. I think the ringland let go sometime betwen the dyno tuning and before my first run,.
When she's rebuilt she'll be running 10's full interior , you'll need the spray to keep up!
