The Power Tour rolls into Indianapolis, IN from Springfield, IL on Monday June6. The gathering will be at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Use this thread to plan your gathering or trip!

I live in Indy and this will be my starting point. I'm new to the board and the Power Tour, but would like to meet up w/ any fellow F-body drivers. PM me if interested.

I live about an hour North of IRP, and I plan on attending as well....

I'm just doing whatever goes on at IRP. I don't have any plans to drive any of the route.

I'm usually the only SOM SS but it is always nice to see more. I'm in for the Long Haul again. Hope to see you there.

Thinkin about doing the tour myself! I am 23 and this is my first year owning a Ls1. I guess its tour worthy just b/c I'm a car nut. Maybe worthy... :confused:

Car is a 2000 Silver SS with little mods.

Appearance: 18x9.5" Chrome Z06's, Berger panel with stainless inserts, CME (being installed), Black billet grill, tint.

Suspension: Eibach Pro Kit, Bilsteins, poly bushings.

Engine/tranny: C/f style Whisper lid, free mods, possibly some lts this week, Magnaflow into CME(from EPP), Viper internal T56 build(from EPP), Spec 3 Clutch and fly(EPP), Pro 5.0.

Not really modded but I think it would be fun. I'll get some pics up after she gets home from EPP next week or the week after.

Yes. It's more about being around other people who live, breath and sleep cars. It's doesn't matter if your car is tricked out of just stock, or if it's needs a little work or a lot of work. There's so much to learn about cars at an event like this. You will see the latest tech stuff and see so many cars, in different stages and get so many ideals on things that you can do to yours. It's the comrodery that you establish at events like this. You will meet people that you will keep in touch with for the rest of your life. I say jump in with both feet and really enjoy your first Power Tour. There's no finer car event in the World.

i would like to join up with the tour in indy and go to florida, but i don't want to go by myself, if anyone else out there wants to go for a ride to florida and slip some gas that would be cool. otherwise im just gonna meet up in indy then probably go home.

We should get some of us Fort area guys to meet up and a caravan down together.

Iknow me and some friends will leave from Ft. Wayne and go to IRP for the racing part of the tour...

ill be willing to go since i will have my 12 bolt in. have a buddy with a white ws6 that has never been to the track that wants to go and i think that would be the best place to get him started. and his car is stock, but hopefully not for long

The Automotive Heritage Museum is on the Northside of Kokomo, IN (alongside US 31). The museum is located within the Johanning Civic Center. The Civic Center is on the Eastside of US 31.

Im going to take the trip to indy so maby we can all convoy down

anyone know what theyre doing for racing that day/evening? I'd love to go to springfield sunday but look slike Indy will be my one day trip.
