Question on muffler for my TD's
I going to have a set of true duals fabbed up soon, but I have a question about the mufflers. I see most people use bullet mufflers, but I was wondering what the old-school chambered mufflers (like the ones GMMG currently uses in their cat-back systems)would sound like in a TD set up.
What would the HP look like compared to the bullet? A little less if any?
Anyone have any experience with a set up such as this?
Oh and one more thing about the bullet muffler. Are there any brands that have an overall smaller diameter than another brand? Say, for instance, if on average a 3" bullet muffler has an overall diameter of 4", are there any that are less than 4 inches? I dont knoew thier true size, but I think you understand what im saying right? LOL The reason why I ask this is because of the design of my system needs all of the room I can muster to make it fit.
Thanks for the info in advance.
Take Care.

Nothing will flow better then a bullet. If you look though a 3" bullet from one end, on the other end you will see the same 3". They really arent mufflers at all, probably why they are so loud. You may lose a few hp by going with sweet thunders but I think it would be well worth it.
