Default building a 408

Hi guys,
new to the forum, and wanted a little help on putting together a 408. I have a 2000c5 a4 car. currently all the bolt-ons with 3.42, yank 3200, and nx150 wet kit. I want more I will need block, heads, cam, and probably larger headers. I want to be around 475-500 rwhp. This is a street car with 2 to 3 times to the track a year. want good street manners that I can drive anywhere. I will also direct port more juice any help would be great, and any idea on costs would also help on this project for the wifes satifaction!
thanks to all!

Check the dyno archives, and search around, there has been quite a stir about the 402 LS2 that SDPC is selling for a rather cheap price.

Took me under 20 seconds to click on search, punch in SDPC and figure out that it's Scoggin Dicky Parts Centre www.sdpc2000.com

thats it.

no offense man but the search will field nearly any question you have on this site. Especially with a 408 build. There are so many guys posting so many combo's you're bound to find one damn near what you want. Then its up to your engine builder you choose to determine what you would like to do.

HPE and Futral have been turning out some nice engines lately, aswell as APE from what I've heard. Plenty of other guys too, start clickin on the links at the right.
