New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - valve chatter?

i have a 98 auto TA with an slp lid. I have what sounds like a sewing machine, kinda like valve chatter. is valve chatter bad?

You might check to see if someone removed the sound insulation from the firewall for weight reduction. I've heard that if you do this then you hear the valve operation really noticeably.

Unless this just started recently, then I'm not sure.
