Congrats to Coach
In his debut of heads up racing(gotta kill the bracket racer somehow) he made it to thefinal round. The car ran faster on every pass and the driver( Coach if you missed the first part) did killer. We got beat by reaction time in the final. Its hard to beat a trans brake car with a footbrake.
Thanks to Coach for driving a killer race and I'm sorry to Kayle for cutting off your daughters hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. We had a great time last night at the track. I would like to thank Madman for all his help and my family for coming out to the track on a Saturday after their volleyball scrimmages.
I was racing my car in the 6.70 index class at Lone Star Raceway. It was heads up on a .400 pro tree. I had a hard time trying to cut a good light since my car is a footbrake Hot Rod. Madman was right about the car speeding up every run. We kept adding weight(150 to 200 lbs) to slow her down to no avail. We cut a couple of 1.38 and 1.39 60 fts. last night, which was sweet.. We have made no changes since Thunder. We just had great weather and the Car was ROCKIN!
In the final I ran a 6.73 to his 6.77. He dumped 1st, then right at the strip I dumped it. Damnit it, his win light came on! He drilled me with a .005 light on a pro tree. I cut a .514 light.
Now, the Hot Rod will go to Madmans shop next week for a few little adjustments to get ready to make a run at the N/E Track championships at Houston Raceway and Lone Star Raceway in 2005.

Great news Coach, so will you be stepping up to a trans brake? Always sucks when the car just wants to go faster when you are on a dail, it's good for personal bests though.

congrats coach! I know about how hard it is to cut a tree on a .400 light with no tranny brake. Best I could muster was .198 Good luck aiming for a track championship next year!

Thanks everyone. Racing to me is like heaven. This weekend, I was reaffirmed how much I love my car. Every time down, I was hitting 2 gear with the wheels way in the air! Everyone could not believe my car has a stock cubic inch motor with no DOPE! I was digging it for SURE!!!!!
Looking forward to 05. With Madmans help and a little luck. I might just win a track championship.

Coach,
Every racer needs a little luck. You cannot win alone on just skill, and I'd rather be lucky than good any raceday My best to you bringing home a championship!
