OK heres the deal, there is a 02 SS running around town that some 16 year old girl drives. Well its go pacesetter LT's, o/r Y, hooker cat back, converter, shift kit, lid, and nitrous. well she doesnt know how to race with nitrous yet so whenever she raced she just goes NA. Well i used to have a mustang with nitrous and she would always beat me. Well now that I have my 97 formula, she wants to race me. Im installing the NX wet kit right now on my car. With a 100 shot do i ahve a chance of beating her??? Or should i just go all out and go with the 150 jets??

BTW last time at the track she ran a 13.3 i believe.

An 02 SS with exhaset, converter and only running a 13.3 n/a. Doesn't sound like she can drive that good. I'd say go with the 150 shot, hope she doesn't spray and go kick her ***. I think you'll have a better change from a dig with her driving skills. Good Luck

Kick some LS1 ***. But PLEASE race at the track NOT on the street. Last 16 year olds racing on the street around Atlanta ended up 3 dead, 2 dismembered.

well with her dad driving he ran a 12.94 stock except for converter, flowmaster muffler, and DR's i believe. when she ran that 13.4 that was with the same components but on street tires. on nitrous, her dad has run a best of 11.89 i beleive. her dad knows how to drive that car. If he was racing I would definetly need more than just a 150 shot. I have seen him beat up on 03 cobras like it was no bodies business. the last time we all went out and raced (which was about 3 months ago), he raced a 03 cobra with all bolt ons imaginable (including pulley and chip) and he also raced a modded C5 vette. Made both of them look stupid. he lauches that car hard and it just keeps on pulling. me and her were messing around sat night and went from like a 15-20 roll and i pulled right off the bat, but then she passed me and made me look stupid. but its ok, i dont mind getting beat by a 16 yr old hottie in a bad *** car!!!

Well a lot of people could have really fast cars with nitrous. Was he spraying when he beat the cobra and c5?

ya he was spraying. but this was all before the headers and hooker exhaust. And i know that long tubes do wonders on these newer f bodies.

LOL i hope you are close to her age though but be carefull. One of the reasons my car is still mostly stock (except for the fact i just bought it this summer) is that i have an expensive girlfriend. If you get too close to her you will find your money fading farther and farther away from your car LOL.

its ok i have a gf whom i love very much. she is soo awesome. i am 20 and she is 18. the girl with the camaro is 16 and i know her dad really well. he is the local nitrous guru who also has an all motor chevelle that will run low 10's all day.

my gf knows that i love my car. she even bought me a whole msd ignition set up for it for xmas, which includes, wires, 6A box, coil, and cap and rotor. but the stuff wont be here until mid january or later due to the fact that the msd cap and rotor for these things will not be out until late this month.
