this will be for my 393 setup my cam should be in the .630 area whould the Ls6 intake be enought for it or should i go with a FAST what kinda power diff

i'd go fast....that is a huge cam...the ls6 does hold it's own though...if you were looking for max power definatly go with fast

maybee i will get lucky and find a deal on a used one....man this motor is costing ALOT

welcome to the club! I've got an ls6 on mine. Taking it for the dyno tune next weekend. As stated before, if you're looking for every last horse you can squeeze out of it, FAST is the way to go. My goals were more centered around reliability and staying within the budget.

If you are going to run a modified production TB, I would stick with the LS6. Fast would get the nod if you were to purchase an aftermarket TB. What kind of heads do ya got(or getting)?

i got a set of pprted ls1 heads that flow 315 at .600 my goal is to put down 500rwhp and be rite around 10.5 on motor
