Need help on choosin the right cam
I am really interested in buyin a cam as my next modification, the only problem is that i donno what im lookin for, i wanted to know what would be the best cam for a pretty much stock 99 trans am, i want the power , but i also want to keep my car as a daily driver and i dont want to have to buy a crap load of other stuff to make my car compatible for the cam if u could please help me it would be very helpfull...

throttle body spacer? hmm...
like jrp said, it appears you're not quite where you ideally should be to install a cam. required bolt ons include headers, intake(ls6 at least), lid, exhaust. you've got the suncoast cai so i guess thats the equivalent to a lid? your exhaust leaves something to be desired, but hey. you're gonna choke the cam if you don'e feed her air with an ls6 intake manifold, and then let her exhale the exhaust gases with some headers, preferably long tubes.
personally i'd look into building up your car a bit more before putting in a cam, you'll not get the results you're looking for until you have the supporting mods(aka foundation mods) already installed. good luck!! btw, jrp's guides that are listed in his sig contain a cornicopia of information.
