Ford Fusion Spy Pics

Looks like whoever thought it would be cool to slap Altezzas onto the last of the Lightnings was also in charge of the rear end of the Fusion. There's nothing wrong with Altezzas, but they sure do look out of place on the Fusion. Sorry but that rear end is fugly.
Specs and Info: derived from the Mazda 6 platform but altered enough that it apparently rides on a platform of its own. I doubt Ford will go chasing the Evo and WRX with an AWD turbo 4 banger sedan of its own as Mazda has that territory covered with its own Mazdaspeed 6. Not a bad car, but a bit of a let down when you think about the car which the Fusion derived its styling from, the AWESOME RWD V10 powered 427 Concept.

Cool looking car. The styling cues are from the 427 concept.
It's too bad they didn't style the Five Hundred that way instead of like a Passat. It's also too bad they did't make it RWD with a V8.

Looking at that picture, I thought it looked like a Magnum and mustang swirly!! The long nose of the stang, and the body of the Magnum. The headlights give it that caddy look, and the wheels almost look like those off the GTO.
So are we to call this a Chord, for a Fevy, Magstang, or stangnum?
Hell it might even look good if we were standing in front of it...Never know.
