Conversions & Hybrids - 3rd Gen LS1 swap guys (shifter cable queston)

I had a 700r4 in my car, will the shifter cable work on the 4L60E? Thank in advance.

Chec the ball size on the lever on the trans. I used a 2000 firebird shfter and cable in my '91 s10 and had to turn a ball to fit the cable then TIG the ball to the shift lever.

Or use your old shift lever.
