Default ASR problems with turning on and off

I have a 2000 ss that will ingage and disengage the ASR by itself while driving normal on the highway. The car has a beefed 4L60,heads and cam,and 10 bolt with 3.73s.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a similar problem. It started up after I put on heads and a 231/237 cam. The only difference for me is it happens when sitting at stop lights for a long time (>2 mintues). Haven't figured out what's going on yet...

231/237 is causeing the PCM to see misfires at idle which upsets the ASR,do not remember which tables need to be changed, if you have EDIT, can send file and you may compare then change your file
luck,Johnny

I adjusted the MAP Min and Max after installing the 231/237....I believe you lower both by 10 each. I imagine you could also change the misfire tables but I didnt want to mess with mine since they were set with the TR224 cam still and were working after the MAP Min/Max was changed. I am going to research my files to make sure thats the correct data.

Well, I dont any screen shots with me here, and cant find the link to my old data. But those values sure do sound about right. try it, if it works good to go, if not simple swap back. Your right that cam sounds about borderline for the reaction the PCM is having.
