I have already had a problem with a broken tailshaft housing...the car is also lowered.
I don't know how long the car will remain lowered, but I do not want any more problems with the transmission. I was looking at the BMR trak pak. How do you guys feel about this piece?
What will work with a lowered car with sportlines, but also at stock ride height with Hals.
The car could see possible 10 sec passes in the future...so I want to buy a piece that will work fine for time slips into the 10's as well.
The car has a Moser 12 bolt as well.
Thanks guys!!

I have had the BMR for 4 years and no problems. One thing to consider, There is not a true dual system that will work with an aftermarket TA that is not mounted to the tailshaft of the trans. Not a big deal but something to think about.

I have the same heads and a 230/236 cam. I have Loudmouth w/ Hooker LT's ORP. I was looking at maybe doing duals in the future, and my car is lowered....but I may be taking the springs off in the future to put on some Hals.
Do you have a aftermarket TA.
How many of you think that it is safe to go well into the 11's and high 10's with a tailshaft mounted TA. Are most of them not rated past 11.0 in the 1/4?
Thanks for the feedback...keep it coming.

What kind of power did your car make? If you don't mind me asking?

A custom true dual system will work. I have a BMR non adjustable TR and it works fine with my exhaust.

Yes, it is the tailshaft mounted.
It is extremely tight but it does work. If I had to redo it, I would have bought a spohn crossmember mount and had the exhaust guy work around it.

I made 435RWHP and 409RWTQ. That was leaving some on the table. Spent most of the year with trans issues. I hope that is fixed now. Just test drove the new SPEC S4F today. Install was easier than I thought.

Custom built mount
I have the BMR adjustable T/A that mounted to the tranny tail shaft. I then remove the tranny mount off of the tranny and built a mount that is welded onto the tranny cross brace using the same mount. BMR is working on making a new tranny cross member that will mount the T/A to.
