making LT1 verter fit LS1?

making LT1 verter fit LS1? ok, so i bought a yank PYE converter that was hardly used, and not at all since it was restalled to 3200. problem is its for an LT1. ive heard there is a way to "adapt" it to fit my LS1 Z28. has anyone done this? how? and is it safe to do? i know flip about converters or trannys, so any help would be appreciated.

The LT1 converter is a 298 mm with the LS1 being a 300 mm. I don't know how to adapt them, but that info might help if someone knows how.

The internal splines and overall length is different on the LT1 converters. You'll have to sell the converter and buy the LS1 converter.
