Injector scaling
converting from a 3 bar (43.5psi) to 4 bar (58psi)

(1) first find out what your injectors are scaled at
example: 36lb flow rate @ 43.5psi this is rated at 3 bar
28lb flow rate @58psi this is rated at 4 bar
ok if your new injector is rated at 3 bar this is the equation you use to come up
with your new injector rating setup for a 4 bar or 58psi fuel system (typical LS1) (A) you find out your fuel pressure on the car your installing the injectors in
Example: 58psi (new fuel pressure) 4 bar
(B) then you get the fuel pressure your new injectors are rated at
Example: 36lb injector rated at 43.5psi (old rated fuel pressure) 3 bar
(C) ok now here is how you get the 36lb injector rated at 43.5psi (3bar) to a 58psi rating (4bar)
you take the square root of your new fuel pressure
(58 psi) the square root of 58 is 7.615
then you get the square root of the new injectors rated fuel pressure
(43.5 psi) the square root of 43.5 is 6.595
(D) ok now that you have the square root for the new rated fuel pressure and old rated fuel pressure
you divide the new fuel pressure square root by the old rated fuel pressure square root
example: 7.615/6.595=1.15
So now what this means your 3 bar 36lb injector will flow 115% more fuel on a 4 bar fuel system
now you take the 36lb injector rating and multiply it buy 1.15 or 115%
this means your injector now flows more than its rated due to a higher fuel pressure
36lb injector (times) 1.15= 41.4
So now your injector is rated at 41.4lbs at 58psi
this is your new injector rating 41.4lb injector @ 58psi
with your new rating the injector will behave like a 41.4lb injector

(2) now to scale your IFR table for the new rated injectors
now that you have your new rated 41.4lb injector @ 58psi you divide it by your old injector rating
41.4lb injector/28.8lb injector = 1.437 or 144%
if you went from a stock 28.8lb injector to the new 41.4lb injector the difference is 144%

So now you would scale your stock IFR table 144%
this should put the table inline where it should be with the new injectors
