Any ideas?
Well, I went out about an hour ago and left from my gf's house. It's 20 degrees here. I went yesterday and sprayed the car off at a car wash just to knock some of the dirt off. Anyhow, when I fired it up this morning the RPM's went up to about 2100 and then the car shut off.....I fired it up again and it ran at about 1500 rpm's. I got out of the car and opened the hood, no sooner than I opened it, it cut off again. I checked the plug wires and all and tried to listen for a vacum leak while it was still running. Got back in the car and started it up, just put it reverse and drove home....it ran perfect, like usual.
Any ideas on why this happened? I thought I might have got water on something when I sprayed it off. I washed it at about 5 yesterday afternoon, and then drove about 30 miles, so I didn't think any water would still be on it, but my door was a little frozen this morning.
Thanks.

I do not know what happened but I do not see how spraying the car off would do anything unless you sprayed the engine.
Glad to hear it started running normal on the third attempt.
And I hope you did not drive in Reverse all the way home
