Default Opinions needed... 'Hawk!!

Hey guys...

I've been looking for an LS1 for a while (specifically a 98-02 WS6), but I've been torn with it and a 99 Firehawk that I found. It's a 99 Firehawk with only 9,000 miles in immaculate condition. M6, with t-tops. Every SLP option except the 6 disc CD changer. The car has never been raced or modded. The only thing that's aftermarket is skip shift eliminator. The owner is asking $20,000. What do you guys think?? High? Low?

And...when I go to look at the car, what should I look for specifically? Problem areas?

you looking to mod? if i could do it all over again, i'd get a 99 firebird formula with NO options..... cheap and light
don't wanna ruin a nice car like that (as everyone said to me about the 00 ws6)

I have no intentions of modding. Just keeping it and enjoying it for a very long time. What about the price? Does that seem high? In my opinion, it seems right...but you guys are the experts!!

$20,000 is right there at it's blue book.

IMO the Firehawk is a collectors car and it will hold it's value better than othe Pontiac F-Bodies. Also try to keep it with fewer miles and changes to maintain the highest collector value.

Since you are not modding then it sounds about right. I would still try to get it for less.

Good luck
