Default Remove Rear View Mirror

Subject says it all! Don't want to break it and had trouble last time I attempted to remove it and gave up. Just want the mirror to modify it and slide it back on it's holder..

Thanks!!!

I haven't pulled it myself, but when I had the windshield replaced the guy just reached up, grabbed ahold, twisted a big and popped it right off the glass. Install was just as simple, hook it on one side and pop it on.

Didn't try twisting it. Looked like some sort of clip, but didn't want to marr up the plastic trying it pry it off with a screwdriver... Thanks, will try that.

when he twisted it did just the mirror come off or did the part that is glued to the glass come with it also? im thinking that if you twist and then hear a big pop then the part that is glued to the glass would come off also. i dunno... maybe im wrong.

He made it look easy -- just twisted, heard a pop, and the mirror slipped off the button.. The button stayed bonded to the windshield..
