How do these head compare to the AFR heads as far as performance? I know they are a ton less expeensive but what am I losing if I by the Patriot Cylinder Head?

that is kind of like trying to compare apples to oranges, but I'll do my best.

The AFR head is a completely aftermarket head designed and produced by AFR. The AFR heads are for the serious racer looking for every edge they can get and are great for N2O and FI applications due to the thicker deck. Also you get some great flow from a small port, thus get some monster torque. A great set of heads but a little pricey for the everyday weekend racer.

The PP heads are a stock LSx series head that has been CNC'd by the folks at PP, then finished up, flowed and assembled. All in all a nice set of heads and about $1000.00 less than the AFR.

Now for what you are losing between the two I can't really say as I don't know enough about your plans for your car and your budget. Give us a call and talk to Brad and we will be glad to help you reach your goals. We can get you a good deal on either the PP heads, the AFR heads or a set of our heads. Options galore here at FFHP

I am seriously thinking about the stage 3 LQ9's for my blower aplication...
You mention this price includes bolts and gaskets... Can you upgrade this to ARP studs and GM MLS or Cometic gaskets? If so, how much more?

Also, do you carry lifters? Just looking for Comp's OE replacement types, not the tricky Magnums Comp r's or whatever they call them these days.

Thanks.
