Default ? about my Cut-Out

hey guys i just got a cut-out put on my 02 why those it smell like something burning? is that okay?

Exhaust fumes probably. Nothing wrong with it unless you are in a closed garage and the car is running.

Where was the cutout placed?

Also, could be the welding on the cutout, it has this smell i can not describe.

could be many things..

it can be that the cutout was welded upwards too much and it heating up the floor to much, melting the drain plugs or carpet

it can just be the paint on the cutout

or just your regular fumes that you are not used to

just take a look around and see if you see anything wierd..if not.. dont worry about it..

thanks,it was welded on the straight pipe before it curves over the axle,it smells nasty but it sounds nice on my car,whats up 02'SS yea i live on capitol and silver creek

Like I said before, welds will smell funny. And like others have said, your burning off paint and what not, just check the floor boards, and if nothing is burning, you should be good to go.
