Default Has anybody dealt with Year One?

I plan on replacing my tan leather interior with dark charcoal, and then having a rear seat delete and corbeau's up front. Today I was talking with my uncle, who restored a '69 firebird, and he said that he dealt with them alot during the resto, and I asked him about their quality...he said they are good, but stuff like door panels etc. don't fit like factory. Is this true? I'm not as worried about carpet etc., as I am having the door panels fitting tight and flush, and the rear int. panels fitting well..don't want it to be obvious that the interior parts are aftermarket.

Has anybody has these sort of problems, or know someone who has?

Thanks in advance guys,

Jason

Hmm, I used a ton of their parts on my '69 and everything fit just fine. I'm willing to bet on the newer 4th gen stuff that the parts are just GM parts. They probably don't even make repro parts for 4th gens yet

Tony-that's kinda what I thought, that it was more or less a surplus of parts...b/c they can't possibly be making resto-repro parts for cars that aren't 11 years old at best.

Maybe he just got ahold of some bad pieces?
