Default Is there a way to connect rubber line to metal?

I have a problem because a shop did a half assed job on a high pressure line. They clamped the rubber to the metal and it is beginning to leak. Is there a way to fix the problem without taking off the line and having them crimped? It is a big job to get the metal line off.

which line are you talking about? a/c high pressure line? power steering?

you can pull it apart, swedge one end some, cram it back in, and put the clamp back on it, in front of the swedge.

or you could just put a few more clamps on it and make 'em really tight

Compression fitting. You can get them at hardware stores and speed shops.
