Default GMMG exhaust rattle due to hangar

I've had my GMMG for 6 months or so, and recently I have been getting a rattle at startup and when moving from a stop. Yesterday I took a look and found that the over the axel pipe was resting on the upper panhard bar.

I could push the exhaust up off the bar because the rubber bushing in the passenger side exhaust hangar didn't have a tight fit around the hangar.

I wedged a spacer in the rubber and the rattle is gone for now.

Has anyone ever replaced the rubber bushing or the exhaust hangars?

I had the shop just take the bar out during install. Good, bad or otherwise, that's what I did. Rattle gone!

My stock one is still on for now...I've had to mess with the pipes before, yes, to keep it from rattling back there, but it is all a part of the ball game.

wow your exhaust is pushed forwards a ways ...... mine is all the way back (towards the rear) in the bushing ... which caused a squeak because of the the flange was making contact with the bushing housing which resulted in a awful squeak

It's weird how the exhausts rattle on these cars. They are very particular. I had a rattle that took me months to track down. It turned out to be the drivers side hanger. The actual noise was caused by the hanger shifting back and forth in the rubber part. I still have only temporarily fixed it...

Might be overkill, but a panhard bar relocation kit such as the bmr one, would provide more room.

i finally tracked down my squeak by putting the car in reverse and applying the line lock ... it wouldnt do it park or neutral, but any other gear it would.
