Default Billet Rails...what about te dampener???

Ok, is there any issues when you swapping out the stock rails for a set of billet rails since the new rails dont have a dampener? Whats the damn little thing for anyway? Want to get a set of rails, the pure choice mtrsprts adapters and clean up the looks a little, just dont need anymore issues i dont know about.

Thanks

Charlie

Are you referring to the tab on the driver side facing toward the firewall?

It's there to dampen the pulses in the rails. It's usually just removed and laid to rest...It's not a necessity.

We do not use it in any of our setups and do not have any problems.
