is it worth it to upgrade ignition?

Default is it worth it to upgrade ignition?

i will be making about 450-470 on heads and cam and all bolt ons hopefully and reving to 6800, should i look into upgrading the coil packs or getting maybe an msd ignition or is the stock pleanty??

Ignition...

Revving that high on a 2000. I'd be more worried about my bottom end..

But to answer your question, you don't really have anything to worry about with your ignition. Its more than enough.

not until you add a couple hundred hp would i worry about the ignition, and then i would just go with the truck coil packs.

why truck coil packs? whats the difference?

Truck coil packs are known to deliver a little bit bigger spark.

why would you be worried about the bottom end. max rpm will be 6800 but itll prob only see 6600, its only 400 more than now
