Default How big to drill TB

I am almost done intstalling my cam and I need to know what A good size would be.

So...anyone with a 224 cam or that might know...what size drill bit did you use on your throttle body to help it idle better?
It is getting dyno tuned later...so I dont need to go crazy here.

thanks

theres no need to drill a larger hole...if you need to do anything adjust the throttle stop but thats it. but even on the stock tun your cam in an m6 will idle fine.

don't drill. Get a tune instead. If you do a little searching, you will find adequet band aids so you can drive your car in for the tune

I would start it and see if it idles fine (or good enough to get you to the shop for tuning) before you drill the TB.

Throttle stop for F-body cars, (+ programming is nice), and programming for drive-by-wire cars like the vette.

I will be driving it for about a month before the tune.

Someone told me that ls1speed even recommends drilling the TB.

Maybe I should just drill it out slighty?

Drilling it out is exactly the same as adjusting the set screw, except the set screw can be un-done. I started a very long post on the subject awhile back, and a lot of people got excellent results using only the set screw. The good part is, if you go too far, you just back the screw off, not buy a new throttle blade.
