Shouldn't be too hard. Do all the bolt on's, and you'll be 90% there. Then even a stealth cam should put you over the top. Have fun w/ the new ride.

all the bolt-on's, then a 230+ duration cam with good tuning. even if you dont quite make 400 (which you most likely will ), you will be more than pleased with the results.

if it's an automatic, the first thing you should buy is a stall (3200+)

buy some gears and drag radials, you're going to need 'em

Congrats on the car. 400rwhp is not quite as easy as everyone is making it out to be.

I'm going to have an Halltech intake, Full length 1 3/4 headers, Borla Stinger exaust and a Stealth II cam. With my LS6 heads and Tuning I'd be happy if I got 390rwhp +.

A more agressive cam like a F13 230/232 59x/59x on a 112 should get you there with the bolt ons and the stock LS1 heads.

There are some cars with LS1 heads that get there with smaller cams but not alot

You have LS6 heads, 400 will be no problem for you.

And 400 with stock LS1 heads is easy, it's been done for almost 2 years now.

Damn did I say all that wrong?? Shoot 440rwhp is realistically possible from stock heads on an LS1, I know that. The posts I was reading were 400rwhp or close with bolt ons and 400 gauranteed with a stealth cam.

I was just pointing out that it isn't always that easy there are alot of variables from the car itself to the dyno it is tested on. Yes I am truely hoping that with a pulley and the stealth II cam I'll be at about 410-415 BUT I don't know what the car baselines at and it may not be a strong car. So if I got 390 at least I wouldn't throw a hissy fit

I have yet to hear of a Stock C5 with all bolt ons reach 400rwhp. I've heard of a couple of Z06's but most of them are in the 380 range.

With the F13 cam and stock LS1 heads and bolts ons I'd wonder what was wrong if I didn't get 400!

I've seen several people get to 400 with bolt-ons and cam-only with a 224 cam.
