When I get my car all worked out I am hoping to be in here also. These guys have given me hope!

Getting there (sig update this past weekend, did that on Friday :D). I think a set of 4.30's and she'll make it on the 150 shot. I'm past the window switch (was 6900) at about 1000 ft right now.

I went for it again on Saturday (increased timing, went +100 RPM on the window switch), but I spun the clutch (RAM VDS/910 with a crapload of hard passes on it). I think it would've done it on Saturday had I not done that. Oh well, just gotta get another one (staying with RAM, have loved this one).

a more appropiate question would be:
What work is done to your tranny to hold up to 9 sec passes...

i'm going for a 9 sec..."daily driven" (meaning like 2 days a week) liberty shifted t56/9" setup with stock cubes and a little boost

who you talking to v8-7?

liberty straight cut 6 speed is the way to go. not street friendly at all, but its the way to go.

gforce has a 6 speed that will handle sick power, but its v ery expensive!

i know futral runs a liberty proshift straight cut geared tranny

after breaking two stock output shafts i am having my trans guy Dave Tiura upgrade the mainshaft to the viper spline.

gator's, do you have a liberty t56?

another 6 here, hopin to break the 9's barier in the next few months. so far im on a stock tranny with a spec 4 clutch, setup wont change much for the 9's quest :eek2: :devil:

Rockin stock is siiick. Till shit goes snap, crackle, and pop. Then it just sucks ass.

Anyone else running stock ass t56's in the single digits?

my T56 is stock, never been touched :D mcleod twin disk clutch is what I use.

My T56 was bone stock when I went 9s a few times last year. Tore it apart to freshen it up and everything looked perfect. The trick to making them last is to not miss shifts.
