Default 408 and complete drivetrain - est cost?

How much would you guys say the average 408 motor with all the goodies, heads, cam, pump, chain, LT headers, and the whole drivetrain to support it, TH400, 9" etc, would approx cost? Just round numbers would be cool. 10k? 20k? 30k?

Also, who has a good deal on a 408 setup right now?
thanks

It would depend on how fast you want to go. FWIW, you can easily spend 15,000 + before your even touch the motor.

Yes, very subjective. Depends on what parts you want put into the motor. Best is to contact a sponsor (like us) and have them put together a formal quote based on your goals and budget.

If you were careful, did your own research you could do it for under $20K. We can build you a short block for $4000 and up depending on what parts you wanted. Let me know if I can help, or call me to discuss some specifics.

motor alone with all the accessories from intake to fuel pump to headers and so forth. I 've spent a hair over 10,000 on all these parts, and i still have to install it and buy a 9 inch and get my nitrous setup done.

A well built 408 longblock, with great components will run near $10,000.
