Default Which Drag Radial?

Alright, someone please advise me. Which of these DR tires will give me better traction at the strip with my 12-bolt. These will ONLY be bolted up for the drive to the track. Now it is 50 miles each way, so I will be putting a good amount of miles on them but they will not be driven on daily.

315/35-R17 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 2

or

275/40-R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial

Thanks

Try the new M&H Musclecar Drag radials. I've heard so many great things about them. I only wish they came in 245/50-16 so I can use the factory rims.

They don't make a 17" tire

The MT drag radial owns all! For drivability, the MT still wins, but if you hit rain that is the only time the BFG and MT are equal.

I just had a set of MT ET streets P255 50R 16" put on the T/A the day before yesterday and they look sweet. You can really sink your fingers in the tread. The car went down the Interstate just beautiful @ 70 mph, rode very nice. It's to cold to try to launch it right now. They are a sharp looking tire.

They're so soft they have got to hook up.

I have used ET streets, M/T drag radials and BFG Drag Radials, and the M/T drag Radials were the best. In the BFG's defense, they were a smaller size.

I believe that the BFG in your photo is the one I'm using, and it works very well on the street too.

Hi Guys,
I can't answer the question but no one really answered this thread. The real question is 315/35 (BFG) vs 275/40 (MT) the way I read it. The BFG 315's have more rubber hitting the road but is the MT better with less rubber on the road???

ive had nittos, BFG's, and the mt et radials. The MT's are the best by far in my opinion
