Default does anyone know height of elbow intake from Wilson???

hey guys...

this post could go in sbc/bbc forum, forced induction, or even drag tech. so i thought i'd start here and see who can help. i have seen a number of guys on here, 99%, with an elbow style intake that seems to fit pretty well by the cowl area. i am converting to a sbc with a FI setup and it looks like these fit with only a minor notching to the plastic cowl so i can keep my pass. side windshield wiper. i've included a pic of what i'm referring to. can someone tell me the exact height of it from bottom to top, and if you've used anyone other than Wilson?

thanks,
Dave

It is approx 5-1/2 inches tall. I can measure one when I get back home late tomorrow.

hey Derty.........

if you could do that i'd really appreciate it. also, if you could take note if the t-body has any part of it that sits higher yet, let me know the overall of it too. anyone else have one of these that you can measure?

thanks,
Dave

The throttle body doesn't sit any higher. The top edge of the flange is the highest point. I'll measure it when I get a chance.

Without milling the flange down any more, it's 6-1/2" tall at it's highest point.

great. thanks Derty. glad you mentioned milling. if it ends up being a bit too tall, i may not have thought of that.

thanks again,
Dave
