Default Hey guys, need help with Header Collector Gaskets......

Just as the title says, which Header Collector Gaskets are the best to use for a trouble free, leak-free, seal?....Can I use Mr. Gasket Co. gaskets and then slap on some type of RTV sealant to help or what do you guys recommend?.....I also heard about Coper Gaskets?.....Thanks in advance....

Not too sure about that one man, but I too heard that the copper one where good. I'd just ask your local exhaust shop

Do a web search on collector gaskets, I found a set that have a replaceable aluminum insert - forget where I got them. I put them on 4 months ago and have not had a leak. Before that they were burning out every two weeks.

The copper or dead soft aluminum gaskets are designed to be used without RTV.
