I wouldn't bother replacing the stock wires unless they are damaged and need to be replaced.
If you do need new wires, I agree than the MSDs are good.

I replaced mine when I rebuilt the motor, because Thunder Racing was having a sale.
I put on the Taylors and didnt see any improvements over stock.

Don't expect any perf. difference. But from my experience the taylor wires have stood the test of time. I am running taylor thundervolt 50s right now and have had no trouble with them. With wires this thick (10.4mm) you shouldn't have to worry about any problems, as in the heat.
