where the lid sit's on the deck, on my friends ram air ta he has like a 1 1/2 opening on my z28 i only have like 1/2 opening. is it possible to get that deck piece bigger form GM or someplace. Also, i have a suncoast creation z stlye hood yould it fit under it.

Yes you can get the WS6 lower air box assembly, but I don't think you'd gain anything by doing it...at least not that you'd notice.
