Default Question for cars with No AC, No Heater

Ok, maybe Im missing something very simple here but this is my question...
If your car has no AC and no Heat, how do you defrost your windows in the winter without the heat? I know once I get mine defrosted and I start driving down the road, it will frost back up!

Also, what if you are in the staging lanes on a humid night and your windows fog up, how do you fix it? Its not like you can drive around with the windows down to get some air circulating. What do you do?

Drive around with the windows down, they only need to go up when you stage. Havent had a fogging or frost issue.

You can buy an antifog compound to put on your window. That is what I did and I never have any issues. It is like rainX or something of the sort.

I use the rain-x anti-fog, but have a small towel in the back just in case. but as long as i have the windows down at least an inch or two, they dont fog up... and if they are fogged when i get in the car, just driving with the windows open gets rid of it.

Just dress REALY REALY warm, like atleast 4 layers of clothes and take of the t-tops and roll down the windows. Problem solved.

Or don't drive a nice camaro-firebird in the winter, or even crappy wheather.

Depending on the temperatures outside and if I happen to drive the Camaro somewhere (not my daily car but sometimes just get the urge to drive it), if its night time and cold, I look like Im on the way to commit a crime. Black gloves, hooded sweatshirt, ski mask, etc etc

Its usually not too bad though. I dont miss any of that stuff.

Do you have any pics of this? does it also give you a little bit of heat for cool nights in the fall? How much does it cost and was it hard to install? thanks a lot.

This happens to me all the time(I only drive my car at the track). I need some info on the subject.

What I have done(while sitting in the lanes)is put my driving jacket over the driver side window, open my hatch and leave my windows open. I also have wife with a towel, wipe off my window right before my burnout and again right before I go into my final staging phase. I crack the window about an inch. 1. so I can hear the other car and 2 to help with the windows.

Does this rain-x anti-fog stuff really work? Does any one else know of a better way?

The anti-fog stuff does a pretty good job. It's good for Percy's glass as well

that would be request 10 million for me to take some pics of the setup and i keep forgetting LOL.

i will really really try to do that in the next day or two and post em up here for everyone that has been wondering.

i got everything used but the heater is like 150 bucks from summit/jegs..not sure how much all the bulkhead fittings needed to run the lines through the firewall would be exactly.

yes it heats the cabin fine..i aimed up through the vent where hte security light is so it defrosts the windshield and heats the car all in one shot..it was keeping the car warm in 35 degree weather last spring when i first brought the car back out..

What I hate is when the windows get instant fog up just before the finish line!! Or as soon as I let off...PUFF...can't see a dang thing, darn hard to drive the finish line while wiping the windshield!!!

The anti fog stuff from rainX works for me most of the time. You can get it on pre-moistened towels in a dispenser or packets too.
