Patriot Dual Spring Kit includes Titanium retainers, Dual springs, Spring seats, and Valve seals. Good to .650 lift, direct bolt in, no machining required.
I went with this kit because I heard nothing but good about them and you just can't beat the price. I got them for $275 at ls1speed.com

Patriot "Golds" are not only one of the best springs on the market...they are the best deal. You can get the orginal "Gold" spring kit which comes complete with Patriot "Gold" .650" dual springs, Titanium retainers, super 7 locks, machined seat bases and viton rubber seals for only $279.50

Ok, first...figure out how much spring you need. It sounds like you are in the 140# on the seat, 350# of the nose range for a 6500 rpm motor.
Next you need to determine quality. Which varies. Crower actually lists the springs by quality. As does Isky and Manley. Others make you search. There is a reason some springs are $100/set and others are $300, or $500/set.
Then their is the supporting hardware. Most people seem to run the titanium retainers ($200-350) with steel keepers (Ti keepers are available for many retainers).
The penalty for losing a spring can be very high, especially with a single spring. Nobody is selling springs that are intentionally bad. And all springs will lose stiffness after a while (on a tweaked motor they are not install and forget).
I am curious who is building a spring, Ti retainer, keepers, and seal for under $300. I would have more than a few questions.
After that, Comp, Manley Nextek, Ferrea, PSI, Isky Tool Room and Endurance Plus (which I don't think makes a 1.290) are also good. Make sure the retainers match the dual spring pair. And the keepers match the retainers.
I would think that $500 is a more reasonable low end range for springs, Ti retainers, and keepers. Can the engine builders chime in?

I will be running the patriot setup on my 239 LSK Comp .651" intake lobe and 246 XE-R exhaust lobe and will let you guys know how it does. If it can control the LSK lobes, the XE-Rs will be a breeze.
