Default Is the Comp or Cloyes timing gear

oversized a little to take up some slack thats in most of the chains? I thought one or both was.

From what i can tell the teeth are sharper and a little longer.
I have cloyes on both my car and truck,they take up about
a half inch slack.

Cloyes are made to take up some slack. They make the OEM
parts, including the LS2 chains.
