Default Head casting numbers

How important is it to match the casting number when buying used heads?

Very. You need to stick to one casting number. If you have a 853 head and a 241 head the 241 side would flow more air.

Oops I just read what I wrote, I mean if I'm replacing the stock 241 heads I have with a set of 853 heads is that ok? I'm having them ported
