Very Pleased With Exhaust I am lucky enough to live close to lanes performance. So, i ordered a pair of kooks LTs and a BMR panhard relocation kit, then i drove on down there and had Lanes 3" true duals put on, over the axle. It is one of the best, stock internal, sounding f-bodys i have ever heard. If you have the money I would definately recommend it. Here is the cost breakdown.
Kooks stainless steel LT's -$900 shipped
BMR relocation kit - $230 shipped
true duals(over the axle) no cats, and bullet mufflers - $1000 installed (only 500 if dumped before the axle)
Total - $2130, but well worth every penny IMO

do you have any clearance problems with speed bumps or steep driveways?

Get the GMMG installed for about 900 if you get the GP discount..sounds sweet, but hey if you got the $$$ (mula) then go for it. I've heard some sweet LS1s with true duals.

Sweet combo. Kook's was a great choice. I see you are doing it the right way. From now on I'm buying the best to start with. I had to change out my exhaust a few times before I found the right combo. Now I have Kook's and TSP true duals.

I am not familiar with true-duals..I am a borla man. Exactly what justifies an additional $500.00 to extend to the rear ( from dumped to rear exit)??
Is this to complicated to fab up? I just picture additional lenght or the pipes#$%^&
Someone enlighten me..please.

To do duals over the axle its pretty complicated if you dump it you could fab it up if you have some welding skills. I got duals over the axle installed about a month ago and it was worth every penny. He was saying he spend $1,000 for just the exhaust so thats only $100 more than the GMMG (which is still a Y-pipe set up). the HP gain by doing duals versus a y-pipe is noticable but it is more about the sound. when i had the duals dumped they started to drive me nuts cause the car was to loud and the rasp with a Y-pipe and Long tubes sounded like crap. The duals over the axle it sounds amazing Its not to loud but it is clean with NO RASP. Whenever my friends come over they want me to start the car up. Thats about the only drawback.
