Default Are my fans even turning on????

Doesn't seem like they are... I've never heard them once since owning the car. When driving normal the temp is fine, at a stoplight or in a drive-thru my car heats up VERY quickly (~224*). How can I tell if my fans are turning on? Should I replace the T-stat? Any other suggestions? Please help!!

224 degrees is perfectly normal. The stock fan temperature settings are ridiculous. They will let your engine heat up that hot.

the way that your radiator is set in, on an angle, with no direct air-flow hitting it, expessally when stopped, these cars heat up, either turn the fans on earlyer, or dont stop for very long, 224 isnt bad, just make sure it doesnt go up much higher than that, to make sure your fans are on, unless your exhaust is really loud, turn the radio off and listen, if your stopped, pop the hood and take a look

I also see you have a 98 f body. We have the actual working gauges so dont' be alarmed when it goes up and down.

The gauge goes up and down for the slightest temp change , unlike most cars where it stays in the same spot even though it goes 10-15 degreese higher or lower. I heard this was only in 98 , your sig says you have a 2000 , so i dunno.
