Default Nitrous LS1?

How safe is nitrous on the LS1 motor? And what do you believe a safe shot is ? 75? He's afraid it will wreck his motor, what things would you advise him about it. Thanks

Well properly tuned and with a sound motor + good fuel, I shoot 200 dry at the track. Been doing that regularly since 11/2 years (about 60 passes or so.) Got into the 10's and I love it.
Tuning is the key.

i spray 150 shot, stock tuning and fuel pump.. should be in the 10's next time out, especially with a tune for my tq converter ect and some sticky tires. i ran 11.63 before the stall or headers off a 2.20 60ft.. ive since cut a 1.67 60ft on decent tires before the headers and ory at the local 1/8thmile.. i figure i can see a 10.90 with mods in sig and some good tires. id say spray atleast 75, 75 is a waste imo.. u can go 100 or 125 all day long, tho for 150 id prolly say get a fuel pump and tune just to be safe.. window switch and wot switches are life savers!

do a search in the nitrous section, u will find 200 similar threads lol

oh go with a wet kit, and if u can stand the extra install time, make it a "texas nitrous technologies" or TNT. worth the extra money.. then buy a msd window switch and pill it from 3000-prolly 5800-6000.. i made custom rpm pills from adjustable resistors and was srpaying mine from "yes" 2500-6025" i know that sounds crazy, but it held many a passes, still runs great today.

with a m6 or stall there is no point going below 3000 and prolly wasn't anyways, just equaled extra spinning.

I run a 125 on my motor/trans with 100 miles and stock fuel pump/system, its been tuned quite a bit tho...proper tuning will increase the life of your motor
