Default new toys going in this week

I was finaly able to order a cam with all the toppings
this is what i got...

TR224/224/114
921 springs
TIT retainers
TR harden push rods
ported/ polish TB
port/polish MAF ends
ASP under drive pully
160* t-stat
hooker cat-back

I also got all the other stuff you need to do the install, belts, gaskets, oil, ect.

I would like to know if all my research payed off, did I get a good setup? what kind of numbers should i expect in the 1/4 mile, and on the dyno? how will it sound and drive?

also I didnt get an oil pump, or timing set because my car only has 24k on it, and Paul at thnder racing said that I wouldnt need them with so few miles on it. I got the same answer from the guys at focefed (they will be doing my tune) as well as another local vette shop.

the mods i have now are..
dynatech suppermaxx LT's w/ cats
SLP lid
free ram air

koni SA shocks
ST sway bars
bmr SFC's
bmr LCA
bmr relocation brackets
and some other stuff that wouldnt impact dyno or 1/4.

thanks for the input,

Eric

Yeah, that's a decent set-up that shouldn't be too tough on the valvetrain: No interference, reasonable durability.

1/4 mile e.t. improvements are subjective. Do you have a baseline dyno? You WILL need tuning to get full advantage. +50-70 fwhp isn't out of the question.

Do yourself some insurance: Go w/ the double-roller timing chain to C.Y.A.

After i installed my LT's i dynoed 338rwhp with 356rwtq. that was un tuned.

So i dont need the whole timing set, just a chain?
as for the oil pump. I was told that if i remove it without removing the oil pan, i will have to bend the oil pickup to get the new one back on, and that will cause problems with a seal or something like that.
