Default Where do install the bung for my wideband oxygen sensor?

1. Does it matter if I install the o-sensor after the catalytic convertor? What is the difference?
2. If I install it before the catalytic, is it Ok to install it in the catalytic in the plenum? [Imagine a stock cat; with the large plenum area and the o-sensor installed there and not in the exhaust pipe.
3. If the o-sensor is in the plenum, it is not directly in the exhaust flow. What difference, if any, does this make?

Typically in front of the cat is where you want it. It must be directly in the exhaust stream from what i've read.

I am catless and put it in the Y pipe where the two sides meet.

It needs to be in the exhaust upstream of the Cat(s). If you don't have catalytic converters it doesn't matter. Here's why https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....80&postcount=3 .

Before the cat and at the 3 or 9 o clock position.

Only run the wideband when doing tuning, don't run it all the time, wideband O2's don't last nearly as long as regular O2's.

i have mine after the cat after reading some stuff on the aussie ls1 forum...according to some tests done there at wot the cat cant keep up with the fuel especially the further from 14.7:1 it gets...then again i have a blower and have my a/f at 11.5:1 so you may want to put it in front of the cats just to be sure.
