Default anyone here run a natural gas heater in their home garage?

what are the operational costs, and which one do you have?
I using a propane type heater works alright but the problem is it stop running after about 10 mins in real cold weather, the tank freezes.

I've got a 50,000 btu natural gas unit that hangs from the ceiling with a progamable stat.

The lowest setting is 45 degrees I leave it on set to that temp all the time. and turn it up when I'm using it.

last month it added about 20 bucks to my bill based on increased usage compaired to this time last year. I live in the midwest.

My garage is 24 x 36 insulated with 2x6 walls.
