Default Need help installing kooks headers on GTO

Hey,

I have the whole passengers side done. For the life of me I can't wedge the headers in on the drivers side, the primaries are hitting the heads.

I need help some suggestions or help pretty quick.

Thanks,

I live in northern NJ if you could assist.

Are you trying from the top or bottom?

Slide them in from UNDERNEATH, they should stay in there somewhat resting on the K-members(if the GTO is anything like the F-body). Then put in the bolts from the top. LT headers are ALWAYS supposed to be installed from under the car, in my eyes.

Hey,

Thanks for the help guys, they had to go in through the top. I gave up and unbolted the motor and jack it up. Then it slid in. The Kooks headers are amazing looking. I will have pics tomorrow.

Yeah, I was just gonna tell you to unbolt the driver's side motor mount and lift the engine up an inch or so. I had to do this with my Camaro, no big deal.
