Default Absolute Speed 5.3 Stage 2 Heads Specs???

I just got a 2nd hand pair of AS Heads.

This is what I know about them:

- 2.02/1.57 Manley Valves
- Comp 987 Springs

I would like to know more specs on these heads, such as optional valves and springs that I could/should put in for reliability/power. Also should I get them on a flow bench? What should they be flowing at what lift?

Thanks for any information that you can give me, I've searched but nothing good came up.

If you need to know more about the heads to let me know what would be best, please respond and I will try to find out.

Thanks again,
Andrew

Default

Also, what would be the best cam to compliment these heads? It's a daily driver, but I don't mind a bit of harshness. What valve/spring/retainer/rocker combination would be the best? I've heard of some valve float problems with the 987's and certain cam/rocker combos. Would it be best to swap out the springs?

Thanks,

Andrew
