Default changing a 98 car to a 99 pcm what is needed

what all is needed to switch a 98 car to a 99 pcm?
i have heard the newer pcm will need the 99 harness, but will the 99 harness end connect to the sensors and such to the 98 car, or is it more involved then that?

what model years share the same harness?

The 99-02 can be switched out with no problems because they are the same pcm but with different programing. The 98 pcm is a different pcm completely, Your best bet is to get the 99 pcn with the harness because the 98 and 99-02 pcm are wired up diferently. Such as the 98 oil pressure sensor which uses 2 wires and the 99-02 uses 1 wire
