Default So what is the rule for my car and roll bar in the 8th mile

http://www.nhra.com/2004/news/november/110102.html
I did a search but seems there are mixed replys so
I race at nhra track
At what et do i need a bar 1-8th mile?
how many points does it need to be?
What about weld or bolt and swingouts?
it ran 7.51 sat. and I think it has more in it.

Well, I believe the break used to be at 7.49, but since the NHRA has relaxed the 1/4 mile break to 11.49 vs. the old 11.99, I'm not sure about the 1/8th mile...

Perhaps someone with a 2005 rulebook can chime in?

The rules say 7.00 needs a rollbar unless a convertible.
